More Tory violence

Some violence is more unacceptable than other violence. Angry students shouldn't break Tory HQ windows: but it's OK for Birmingham Tory councillor to use Twitter to call for a journalist, Yasmin Alibhai-Brown, to be stoned to death. He's just been arrested.

 "Can someone please stone Yasmin Alibhai-Brown to death? I shan't tell Amnesty if you don't. It would be a blessing, really."

I'm warming to Twitter: it's so immediate that people don't think about what they're doing, and you see their charming real selves.

(Actually, I don't think he should be arrested for stupidity, merely publicly humiliated and forced to resign).
