X-Ray-ted!

It's an X-Ray Pin-Ups calendar.

Exploitation? Porn? Witty modernist reference to porn without being in itself pornography? It's a publicity stunt (I presume) for a Japanese medical imaging and monitors company demonstrating their products.

I'm unsure. The images are beautiful, but the fact that they're using only women, and in the standard porn poses, leads me to think they're trying to have it both ways. No pun intended. It's such a transparent manoeuvre, and we can all see straight through it (pun intended).

Still, lonely anatomists are going to love it.
